Real Madrid have offered 23-year-old Spanish left-back, Sergio Reguilon to Manchester united.
The Spanish defender returned to be Bernabeu this summer after spending the 2019-20 season out on loan at Sevilla.
And despite being voted La Liga’s best left-back last term, Bernabeu boss Zinedine Zidane has no plans for Reguilon to stay at Real Madrid this season.
The 23-year-old is ranked 3rd in Real Madrid’s left-back hierarchy, falling behind Ferland Mendy and Marcelo.
Sun reports that Man Utd has made a £27M bid for the defender already which was rejected by the Spanish Giants.
They further report that despite Reguilon being low in Real Madrid’s left-back pecking order, the Spanish Giants are not willing to sell the full-back.
With Real Madrid not willing to sell and Man Utd big interest in the full-back, both sides may have to settle for a loan move for the Spanish defender.
PSG, Juventus, Napoli and Tottenham are also among those interested in signing the Spaniard.
But United emerge as frontrunners to sign him, with Solskjaer keen to bolster his options at left-back and provide competition for places.
With Luke Shaw very injury prone, Reguilon might be the solution to Man Utd left-back position for years to come.
Sergio Reguilon is also open to spending another year at Sevilla.
