Manchester United have reportedly made a bid in the region of £27M for Juventus winger, Douglas Costa after talks with Borussia Dortmund for Sancho broke down, according to The Daily Mail.
Jadon Sancho was Ole Gunner Solskjær primary target this summer to bolster his attack next season, but talks seem to have broken down between Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund as they failed to find an agreement.
Jadon Sancho has also resumed pre-season training with the Borussia Dortmund squad, making finding a suitable deal even more difficult for Manchester united with Dortmund unwilling to open talks few weeks to the start of 2020/21 Bundesliga season.
Manchester United are still reported to be in search for a new winger. David Brooks was linked to the club earlier in the week and Douglas Costa is now linked.
Douglas Costa seems to have fallen out of favour at Juventus following the addition of Cristiano Ronaldo two seasons ago.
With an initial bid of about £27M rejected for Douglas Costa, Juventus expect Manchester United to increase their offer and make a bid in the region of £40M for the 29 year old winger in the coming days.
