Manchester United legend and TV pundit Rio Ferdinand has revealed what Chelsea manager Frank Lampard told him about new signing Hakim Ziyech.

Ziyech joined Chelsea from Ajax in a £32m deal this summer but missed Chelsea’s season opener at the Amex stadium due to a knee injury.

Lampard can’t wait to have him back in the team as Rio Ferdinand revealed.

“You know what, I spoke to Frank the other day about Ziyech and he said: ‘His passing is ridiculous.’ Ferdinand said in a chat on the Five YouTube channel.

“I’m looking to see them passes when he cuts with his left foot and has the likes of Mason Mount, Timo Werner Kai Havertz etc all making runs and I think Ziyech will be putting it on a plate for these boys.”

Ziyech is also set to miss Chelsea Premier League clash against Liverpool this Sunday but could be ready for West Brom on 26th.
