Very informed Norwegian journalist Fredrik Flitvedt has claimed that Manchester United are close to signing Jadon Sancho from Dortmund.
In a post on his Twitter page, he said that United feel increasingly confident that they can reach an agreement with Dortmund on Sancho, and the England international could be ready for Manchester United’s first Premier League game of the season next weekend against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.
Flitvedt tweeted: “Solskjaer should be frustrated that things take time, but United feel increasingly confident that they can reach an agreement with Dortmund on Sancho. United have ambitions that he is ready for the Palace match.” (Translated)
Solskjær skal være frustrert over at ting tar tid, men United føler seg stadig tryggere på at de kan komme til enighet med Dortmund om Sancho. United har ambisjoner om at han er klar til Palace-kampen. https://t.co/oKXtpkH3U0

While Dortmund are unwilling to reduce their £108m asking price for the player, Manchester United are hoping to bring the price down before the end of the transfer window.
The interest from the English club is still strong and an agreement could be done quickly if both clubs manage to reach total agreement in the coming days.
