AC Milan have officially announced they have extended Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s contract by one more year.

Ibrahimovic is set earn €7 million per year in his new contract with AC Milan, keeping him at San Siro until 2021.

The Swede was a massive boost for AC Milan last season, helping the Milan-based club to finish in Europa League position.

AC Milan gained 2.1 points on average with 61% win percentage and scored 2.2 goals per game in Serie A last season with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, after they picked up 1.4 points with 40% winning percentage and 1.2 goals on average without the Swedish player, according to Opta stats.

The 39-year-old rejoined AC Milan in January 2020 and has played 18 games, scoring 10 goals and providing 5 assists.
