According to @DanRoan, a senior Journalist at BBC news, Harry Maguire has been found guilty of charges of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and repeated attempts of bribery after an incident in Greece last week.

After being arrested for in a brawl on the Greek island of Mykonos, Manchester United captain Harry Maguire pleaded not guilty in court Saturday to aggravated assault charges.

He is is “fully co-operating” with Greek police, the English Premier League club said Friday last week friday.

The 27-year-old defender was on vacation in Mykonos when he was arrested outside a bar with two other Britons close in age in an incident Friday morning, where police officers were allegedly threatened and attacked, CNN reported Saturday.

A spokesperson for the South Aegean Police Directorate confirmed the three arrests to CNN. The police said officers initially tried to resolve a dispute involving the men and others but “the three foreigners involved in the incident turned against them, insulting and hitting a police officer with fists”.

The 27 year old defender has now been found guilty of all three charges and is facing a possible 2 years jail term.
