Leicester City’s Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho could be on the move this summer, as reports have emerged from Turkey that Fenerbahçe are preparing a €12m offer for a two-year loan deal.
The Turkish giants are about to sell their forward Vedat Muriqi and see Iheanacho as a perfect replacement, according to Fotospor.
Various English media reports have suggested Leicester City are interested in signing Celtic forward Ousmane Edouard, thereby making Iheanacho available for transfer.
The 23-year striker was in fine form for Leicester City towards the end of the season and won’t lack suitors with Premier League side, Aston Villa also said to be interested in him.
However, his recent form makes the report of a two-year loan deal a bit hard to believe as Leicester would rather sell him permanently.
Iheanacho joined by Leicester City from Manchester City on a five-year contract on 3 August 2017, for a reported £25 million fee.
