Crystal Palace have announced the signing of Super Eagles hopeful Eberechi Eze from Championship side Queens Park Rangers.

The attacker signed a five-year deal at Selhurst Park despite interest from Fulham, West Ham and Newcastle.

Palace will reportedly pay QPR £16m upfront with £4m in potential add-ons while QPR inserted a 20% sell-on clause in the contract.

After signing for his new club, Eze said: “As a football club, I feel like there are great players here and it’s a brilliant opportunity for me to come and be with these players, to link up with them and to really push on.”

The Nigerian scored 14 goals in 46 appearances in the Sky Bet Championship for QPR last season.
