According to Goal, Atletico Madrid has placed offered Diego Costa to several clubs for transfer.

The Spanish International striker made a move to Atletico Madrid in the January transfer window of the 2017/2018 season.

Three productive years were spent in England before re-joining Atleti, but just 17 goals have been scored in a further 83 appearances for Madrid.

The 31 year old was followed by fellow Spanish team mate, Alvaro Morata in the January window of the following season.

This has seen both former Chelsea strikers compete for the main number 9 role at Atletico Madrid.

The 31 year old has now seem to have fallen out of favour at Atletico Madrid and has been placed on the transfer list by the Spanish Giants.

This action is following a very inconsistent season from Diego Costa, as the striker has struggled to make an impact in the Spanish club all season.

Diego Costa has just one year left on his contract which expires in the summer of 2021.

That has been one of the main reasons the Spanish international has been placed on the transfer list as Atletico Madrid won’t want to lose him for free in 2021.

Diego Costa’s his agent is reported to be working with the Spanish Giants in finding a new club for the striker.

The 31 year old has been offered to a number of clubs in England, Italy and Spain but there has been no concrete interest for the Spanish striker yet.
