Inter Milan manager, Antonio Conte wants to reunite with former player, N’golo Kante but Chelsea’s price tag of £80M seems to be a stumbling block.
Kante won the Premier League under Antonio Conte in the 2016/17 season. That was the first season at Chelsea for both N’golo Kante and Antonio Conte.
The French midfielder joined Chelsea from Leicester City in the summer transfer window of 2016 for a fee of £32M.
The midfielder played an integral role in Chelsea’s league triumph. His consistency saw him awarded the Player Of The Season award from the English FA.

N’golo has been linked with a summer reunion with former manager after a season plagued with multiple injuries.
The Blues are ready to put up a hard fight for the 29-year-old as Express reported that Chelsea have placed a price tag of £80M on the midfielder.
The most likely replacement for N’golo Kante if this switch happens is Declan Rice. The 21-year-old defensive midfielder has been consistently linked with Chelsea this summer.
According to reports, West Ham value Declan Rice at £80M but it’s believed that Chelsea won’t pay more than £60M for the midfielder.
Conte is also interested in Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri and striker Olivier Giroud, both of whom would be more realistic targets than Kante, as they look unlikely to hold places in the first team after the string of summer signings.
Giroud only signed a new contract at Chelsea in May, keeping him at the club until next summer, but he could still be tempted to leave given the competition with Werner and Tammy Abraham upfront.
